Basic Purpose and Objective Sets up and operates various types of fillet roll machines to ensure conforming parts are being produced. Specific Duties and Responsibilities Inspect work pieces for defects, and measure work pieces to determine accuracy of machine operation, using process procedures, templates, or other measuring instruments.Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunctions such as worn or damaged rollers. Notifies Supervisor in case of detection.Change worn machine accessories such as rollers, fingers and pushers using hand tools.Performs Statistical Process Control (SPC) checks per specification and acts in accordance with output.Inspects parts to ensure conformation, dimension and tolerance levels with specifications and blueprints using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.Utilizes full range of precision measuring and gauging tools to perform inspection before start, during and completion of production run.Recognizes improper machine functioning and recognizes defects in machinery, measuring instruments or equipment and informs leads or immediate supervisor when machine maintenance is needed.Perform minor machine maintenance, such as oiling or cleaning machines, dies, or work pieces, or adding coolant to machine reservoirs.Reads blueprint for product specification such as dimensions, tolerance, number or parts to be formed and tooling instruction on type of tooling required.Able to read routers and operation drawings to determine machining dimensions and requirements.Performs record keeping, data entry, housekeeping, and follows safety regulations.Other duties may be assigned. Skills and Formal Training Requirements/Experience Able to read, comprehend, and execute directions from mechanical drawings.Able to measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.   AUD Paramount 90723
